Hi guys, we are going to talk about HERO SPLENDOR+. In this we are going to discuss that hero splendor a really good bike? We will see the performance, looks and other aspects very closely. So let’s start the discussion.



About Hero Splendor

Splendor is a bike manufactured in India by Hero. Splendor is a successor of Hero Honda CD100 and the Hero Honda Sleek, both inspired by the Honda CB 250RS series of 1980s. In 2004 Hero Honda launched the upgraded version of splendor, the splendor+. This version features multi-reflector headlight, tail light and turn signal lights and new graphics.

It has a top speed of 100Km/h. power of 5.9KW@8000rpm and torque of 8.05 Nm@6000rmp. Coming to brakes:- Front brake drum:130mm, rear brake drum 130mm. It has a fuel capacity of 9.6 liters and fuel consumption is 81.6/L. It comes in 2 variant: kick start and electric start. Hero It has  97.2cc engine based on the Honda club C100EX with a similar bore and stroke of 50mm*49.5mm.

As of 2009, Splendor models were selling at a rate of one million per year. It is a large amount for a bike to be sold. Till now many bikes come and go but splendor is still in the hearts of million people. There can be multiple reasons for this like:-

  • Affordable price
  • Up to date features
  • Elegant look
  • 81.6/L fuel capacity
  • And the most important it is manufactured since April 1994

CONCLUSION
